Latest company news about FIC 2026 Booms with Full-line Freeze-drying Demand, Guxing Advances Middle East Food Freeze-drying Project Layout
The 2026 FIC Shanghai International Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition successfully concluded on April 28, marking a new upsurge in the upgrading of the global food freeze-drying equipment industry. Leading domestic pharmaceutical and food equipment enterprises displayed intelligent freeze-drying linkage production lines and automated control systems at the exhibition. The number of overseas customer consultations increased by 25% year-on-year, and the market demand for standardized and customized full-set freeze-drying production lines continued to rise.

Against the backdrop of escalating regional geopolitical risks and prominent global food security demands, Middle Eastern countries have accelerated the layout of deep processing of agricultural and sideline products and long-shelf-life food production. Local enterprises are actively replacing traditional processing equipment with efficient and stable freeze-drying production lines to improve local food self-sufficiency.

As a benchmark enterprise in the field of food freeze-drying equipment export, Guxing Technology accurately grasps the market demand of the Middle East. Through overseas agent channels, the company received in-depth negotiations with purchasing groups from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran during the exhibition period. This week, it officially reached a letter of intent for cooperation with a Saudi food group on a 300kg/h food freeze-drying production line project. The project covers equipment supply, on-site installation, commissioning and professional technical training. It is scheduled to be delivered and put into operation in the third quarter of 2026, helping Middle Eastern customers optimize food processing systems and respond to regional food security challenges.
